My professional education includes B.Tech in electronics and communication engineering from Kalyani Government engineering college, West Bengal, India in 2010.

In 2012, I joined Bharat electronics (BEL) a leading public sector enterprise in India and worked as EMI/EMC engineer under the central quality assurance division in Bangalore unit. While working under service division, I was involved in procurement activity such as preparing technical specifications, supplier list, quote evaluations etc.

The CPPP course was introduced and initiated by our management to understand the basics of procurement activity. The integrated course structure and content amazed me in spite of subject being very new to me and it inspired to learn and understand the topic very well. Certainly, this course is going to help me in my future, as expenditure on procurement activity in our department is growing and my role and involvement in this activity is also increasing.

A great initiative by World Bank to understand & learn very complex subject in a very innovative and comparatively easy way, requires great enthusiasm, dedication and commitment by not only top management or higher officials but also by each individual of any sector to spread awareness about procurement process.
