My educational qualifications include B.Sc (Agriculture), M. Sc(Agronomy ) Gold Medalist, PGDBM and MBA . At present, I am working as an IAS ( Indian Administrative Service) officer in Govt of Himachal Pradesh (India). I have been awarded ‘Shaurya Chakra’-the third highest peace time gallantry award in India by the President of India for foiling Bank Dacoity. I served as Bank Officer for three years(1983-86), as State Govt Officer thereafter and now serving as IAS officer (2006 batch) after promotion.

My family consists of my wife Smt Byasa Sharma and two sons named Abhimanyu and Ashish. Certificate Program in Public Procurement course was mandated by LBSNAA as a pre requisite of Mid Career Training programme for IAS officers. This programme is very informative and useful to Public officers.
