I am currently employed by the Secretariat of the Pacific Regional Environment Programme (SPREP) based in Apia, Samoa where I have been working for the last 8 years.
SPREP is an inter-governmental organization entrusted by the governments and administrations of the Pacific region with the protection and sustainable development of the region’s environment.
My current responsibilities include leading and facilitating the process for all tender activities of SPREP; developing and implementing sustainable procurement guidelines, procedures and policies; as well as providing advice and guidance to all staff on the procurement processes and issues that may arise.
My educational qualifications include a B.Com in Operations Management from the University of Auckland, New Zealand. I value the knowledge I have gained from the CPPP course and felt it was very relevant to the work I am currently doing. I am very grateful to the World Bank for the great initiative for opening up this course to anyone to participate. I would encourage all professionals, whatever their field may be, to take up this great learning opportunity
