I completed my Bachelors in Mechanical Engineering, with distinction, from NIT Warangal. I have more than 5 years experience at POWERGRID, in work areas like Environment and Social Management, Engineering, Project Management and Procurement. I am currently working in Contracts and Materials department where apart from managing the procurement activities at regional level, I am involved in implementation of SAP/ERP system and e-procurement at our division.

I enrolled in CPPP to get a better understanding of public procurement and best practices being followed in public procurement domain. I found CPPP to be rich in content and stream lined for quick grasping of the subject. The elective modules offered in PDPP are good.

I firmly believe that in public procurement, professionalization through skill enhancement can lead to greater efficiency and better utilization of resources. In India, where the government procurement spending is significant, such efficient procurement processes can lead to huge savings.
