I have completed B.E.(Hons.) in Electronics & communication from MDU in year 2007 and joined Bharat Electronics Limited, a govt. of India Enterprise, in 2007 as Deputy Engineer and currently working as Deputy Manager in Marketing Department of BEL, Ghaziabad Unit

Although I do not have any specific procurement experience or educational qualification, as a part of operational marketing activity I have gained enriched experience due to bidding against the government procurement for order materialization which involves following the public procurement guidelines & policy.

BEL management has introduced the CPPP course for officials involved in the public procurement. Keeping in view of course content & usefulness for both the organization as well as to individuals the same was extended to others non-procurement officials. The integrated course content amazed me as same is very relevant in the operational marketing activity.

It is one of the great initiatives of the World Bank where individual gets the opportunity to understand the basic fundamentals of public procurement and will enhance the knowledge for Systematic, transparent & ethical public procurement. I firmly believe in professional public procurement and awareness for same needs to be spread to others.
